Millennial Fashion Alert: Taylor Swift Rocks Skinny Jeans at the Chiefs Game

Last week, Swift traveled to Kansas City to watch her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and the Chiefs play against the Las Vegas Raiders. The musician arrived at the game with Kelce’s mom, Donna, and was photographed in a red Louis Vuitton half-zip sweater, black pants and short platform leather boots. At first, I couldn’t take my eyes off her sporty hairstyle, but once I zeroed in on her jeans, I realized that Swift is a total millennial. 

If you look closely, you’ll notice that Swift is wearing skinny jeans. This style has practically been outlawed by Gen Z, who claim this particular cut of denim is something that only millennials wear because that’s what was cool when they were young. While Gen Z prefers a baggier style with a wide leg and comfortable fit, millennials (like Swift) tend to gravitate toward a slimmer cut.

I don’t blame Swift for choosing skinny jeans based on her footwear choice because the pants seamlessly blend with her platform boots. If she wore baggy denim, the length would have to be hemmed perfectly so that it hits at the right spot on her ankle. 

Take my opinion with a grain of salt, though, because I’m a millennial too. Here, a few similar styles to get Taylor's look.
