Sometimes, I like to think of shopping as my superpower. Not one born from a hobby, but out of necessity. As a plus-size shopper, I’ve spent a large chunk of my lifetime constantly looking for stylish fashions plus-size gals can actually wear. Not hideous, ill-fitting frocks you stumble upon in a deserted section of a department store, but on-trend pieces you can look and feel your best in.

With the already scarce handful of places where curvy people can shop dwindling at a rapid pace (RIP, Wray), at this point, I feel it’s best to keep tabs on brands who are catering their rack space—in this case, site space—to plus-size bodies. So, if you’re on the hunt for new shops to keep on your radar, here are nine of my favorite size-inclusive brands to shop from with styles worth wearing, from vibrant occasionwear at Eloquii to late-summer staples at J.Crew.

1. ASOS

What I Like

  • thousands of plus-size styles
  • various brands to shop from

What I Don't Like

  • site can be confusing to navigate
  • no reviews

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Don’t sleep on ASOS’s curve and plus-size clothing. With over thousands of stylish pieces available in a size US 14 and up, they’re the best place to look for an outfit suitable for any occasion. Going on vacay? There’s definitely a breathable linen piece to fit your fancy. Have a wedding on the cal? You’ll find the best dress suited for the nuptials in no time. Honestly, I could scroll through their site for hours. Plus, I didn’t even mention their versatile shoe options that go up to women’s size 13.

2. Anthropologie

What I Like

  • lots of plus-size styles
  • items can run large

What I Don't Like

  • items can sell out quickly

Anthropologie

There’s no better place for trendy plus-size fashions than Anthropologie. I’ve tried several of their best-selling items, and they have yet to let me down. With sizes up to a US 26W, it’s no wonder that their shoppers keep coming back for more—myself included. I know scrolling through their endless product pages can be overwhelming, so if you’re unsure of where to start, might I suggest getting your fill with one of their rave-worthy maxi dresses, like the Tobie or the Somerset. Or if you’re searching for something a bit more practical, like trousers or denim jeans, you should feast your eyes on the editor-approved Colette Pants. Trust the hype, and I guarantee you won’t regret it.

3. Universal Standard

What I Like

  • impressive size range

What I Don't Like

  • pricey

Universal Standard

If we want to talk about revolutionary sizing, let’s talk about Universal Standard. With their sizes ranging from a US 00 to US 40, you’d be hard-pressed to find an item you love not in your size. And it’s not just their sizing that deserves praise, it’s their fashions, too. They have a large selection of items to see you through any season in style. Their linen collection is a huge hit every summer, and you don’t want to miss out on any of their outerwear come winter. They are a bit on the pricier side, but loyal customers report their items can last for ages. It sounds like a great investment to me.

4. Eloquii

What I Like

  • trendy styles
  • affordable

What I Don't Like

  • site can be overwhelming

Eloquii

Fabulous styles? Check. Impressive sizing? Check. My stamp of approval? Triple check. Eloquii is a brand I’ve known about for years, and they’ve certainly gotten better with time. From office-ready staples to vacay-wear worthy enough to stuff in your carry-on, Eloquii’s unique collections are what plus-size fashionista’s dreams are made of. Their latest—the midnight social—features striking silhouettes, vibrant fabrics and tons of sequins. But that’s not all you’ll find on their site. I’m talking elevated basics, undergarments, accessories and so much more.

5. Old Navy

What I Like

  • affordable
  • lots of styles to choose from

What I Don't Like

  • hard to find extended sizing in-store

Old Navy

Old Navy has always been a reliable retailer for affordable clothing. But now, we can count on them for reasonably priced items *and* size-inclusive fashions. Here, you can find everyday styles, activewear, swimwear and occasionwear, all up to a 4X (roughly a US 28/30). I will say, they still have a ways to go, with most of their extended sizing only being available online. But with their easy-to-follow, 30-day return policy and the option to ship your order to the closest store near you, building a capsule wardrobe on a budget has never tasted sweeter.

6. The Drop by Amazon

What I Like

  • fast delivery service

What I Don't Like

  • quality of items can vary

The Drop by Amazon

What’s better than finding chic fashions in your size? Getting them speedily delivered to your doorstep in record time. If you’re unfamiliar, Amazon often releases limited collections designed by fashion influencers from all across the globe under their label, The Drop. Collections released under The Drop can go up to a size 5X (US 32/34), and are eligible for Prime two-day shipping (if you have a membership), which means you can get a last minute outfit for that party you’ve known about in advance for months without breaking a sweat. You’re welcome.

Fast Facts

  • Sizing: XXS to 5X (US 00 to 32/34)

7. J.Crew

What I Like

  • lots of items in extended sizing

What I Don't Like

  • no curvy models on the site

J.Crew

Not enough people talk about this, so let me say it: J.Crew has one of the best size ranges in retail. There aren’t many heritage brands who can say their sizing goes up to a US 24, but J.Crew can, with some serious pieces to back it up—and it’s not limited to a select pick of items. If you’re looking to polish up your wardrobe, I recommend J.Crew. Where else could you find tailored, size-inclusive and high-quality clothing at a semi-affordable price? (Psst: Don’t forget the must-have cashmere to fill your cart with when winter rolls around.)

8. Mango

What I Like

  • reportedly runs large
  • lots of plus-size styles

What I Don't Like

  • no reviews

Mango

Mango is fairly new to me, but I haven’t stopped stalking their site since I found them—and it’s with good reason, too. The Spanish-born fashion retailer carries a wide range of high-quality pieces catered to those looking to up their wardrobe at an affordable price. Think Zara or H&M with a Southern-European twist, a size range up to a 4XL and a site navigation that won’t hurt your eyes. In all honesty, their plus-size landing page has seen me more times than I care to count, and it’s all thanks to their stunning offerings that have me dreaming of vacays in Barcelona. I’ve already spotted the hottest color of next season—a deep burgundy—on their site a few times, which means fall is well on its way. If you need me, I’ll be filling my cart with their latest arrivals prepping for that crunchy foliage ahead.

  • Sizing: XXS to 4XL

9. Reformation

What I Like

  • trendy styles
  • sustainable

What I Don't Like

  • small selection of extended sizes
  • no reviews

Reformation

Ah Reformation, how I love you so. Pearl-clutching price points aside, Reformation has a small, but stunning offering list for the curvy consumer. I feel they're best suited for finding versatile items you can dress up or down. For example, many of their dresses can go from summer BBQ casual to wedding guest attire with a quick swap of accessories. I don’t gravitate toward them often, but when I do, I’m never left unsatisfied.
