Carrie Bradshaw may have a permanent place on every fashion girl’s mood board—and for good reason—but throughout Sex and the City’s original six-season run (and two follow-up films), no character came close to the glamour, fabulousness and, as the kids say, “aura” of the Samantha Jones.

Everyone’s favorite PR maven (played by Kim Cattrall) oozed confidence and sex appeal, whether she was donning a slinky mini or a full-on power suit. She frequently sparkled in sequins, embraced her wild side with pops of animal print and showed off (tasteful) peeks of skin with sheer separates and suggestive necklines. Her closet’s color palette? As bold and bright as her personality.

So when I started scouting the buzziest trends of the season, I couldn’t help but wonder…if they were all inspired by Samantha’s wardrobe? From balloon pants (a glittering pair of which she wore to Abu Dhabi in SATC 2) and zebra accents (I’m forever thinking about her red dress/zebra bag combo) to retro headscarves and even her favorite shade of blue, many of her maximalist staples are as of-the-moment as ever. Sorry Carrie, but this summer, the stylesphere belongs entirely to Samantha.

Don’t believe me? Check out the ten fresh pieces below that have “Ms. Jones” written all over ‘em.

This poppin’ pink number combines three of our girl’s favorite things: a flirty halter top, a head-turning hue and a power pantsuit (albeit one that comes as a single piece). The wide, pleated legs and included belt scream “bossy” in the best way, meaning it’s just the thing for channeling your inner Samantha at the office—though you might want to add the matching blazer if the neckline is a little too risqué for your workplace.

Have a special occasion on the books? This one-shoulder gown is equal parts sexy and sophisticated, just like Samantha herself. It’s a standout, especially in this sultry red, which would look fab accessorized with some chunky gold cuff bracelets and dangling earrings in true Sam fashion.

Every color is Sam’s color—but turquoise is really her color. She frequently wears shimmering versions of this stunning shade throughout the series, and it just so happens that it’s one of the hottest hues for summer 2026. Between the crochet knit construction and rows of fish scale sequins, this turquoise tank top is the perfect mermaid-esque number to don on vacation—or any splashy outing with the girls.

Earn your It-Girl stripes in these flowy zebra-print bottoms, as fitting for an afternoon brunch by the pool as they are for a night out. They’re a little more toned down than the pink pair our style icon wears to party at the Playboy Mansion—fake Fendi bag in tow—but you’re sure to appreciate the relaxed fit and lightweight sateen fabric that’ll have you feeling comfy while looking chic at just about any other destination.

Drapey, leggy and just sheer enough, this mesh coverup is a must for the Samantha of every group. The pull-on styling and elastic waistband make it easy to throw on over your swimsuit after sunning all day, and since there’s no complicated tying or adjusting required, you won’t have to worry about it slipping off when you get to the beach bar for sunset cosmos.

From the Hamptons to Los Angeles to the rooftop pool at Soho House, you’ll look your Sam Jones—or should I say, Annabelle Bronstein—best in this ultra-glam one-piece, which comes complete with a gold embellishment at the neck that basically acts as built-in jewelry. The strap is adjustable at the back (where the suit also scoops low to show off your shoulders), while the foldover neckline creates a flirty keyhole cutout down the torso.

And to go with the above? This pre-fashioned headscarf emblazoned with large polka dots. The bold black-and-white pattern has a similar look to the memorable Chanel scarf Sam styled in the Hamptons in season five, and it no doubt strikes the same sense of fun, retro glam.

Two zebra-print items are better than one in my (maximalist’s) opinion, but if you’re just seeking a subtle nod to Samantha Jones style, this beaded shoulder bag is a fab option. It has a classic silhouette that fits perfectly under your arm, and it’s a great size for a night on the town—large enough to stash your phone and cards, small enough not to weigh you down on the dance floor.

Balloon pants, harem pants, Hammer pants—whatever you call ‘em, they’re all the rage this season. As mentioned above, Samantha showed off a glittering gold pair on the girls’ trip to Abu Dhabi in the second SATC film, and you can get the look with this coated chiffon style. The metallic threading throughout gives the billowy bottoms a similarly luxurious sheen.

Samantha’s not just the Queen of Public Relations, she’s also the Queen of Accessorizing. As far as I, a repeat SATC binger, can tell, she’s never met a statement bracelet she didn’t like. That said, I’m sure she’d swoon over this sculptural resin cuff, featuring a swirled design in her favorite color (as well as brown and cherry red). Snag one to add a pop of color to your warm-weather look or stack them all for a showstopping arm party.
