Rihanna Showed Up to the Oscars in a T-Shirt Before Changing Into a Stunning Alaïa Dress

Leave it to Rihanna to show up to the 95th annual Academy Awards in a t-shirt and no pants, before suddenly transforming into a chic dress from Alaïa moments later.

The recent Super Bowl halftime performer caught everyone's eye when she walked the Oscars red carpet in an all-black ensemble from Alaïa. Per the @rihannastyleguide on Instagram, the look was inspired by a piece from the French brand's Fall/Winter 2023 Collection. However, the haute couture was altered specially for the “Diamonds” singer.

The ensemble included a skin-tight, mesh top layered underneath a leather bandeau bra. Meanwhile, the outfit also included a black leather skirt, with slits down the sides of the hips and a long train at the back.

Only a month after announcing that she was pregnant with her second baby, Rihanna happily showed off her baby bump on the red carpet, cradling it while she posed in another chic maternity 'fit.

However, while Rihanna looked fabulous as usual, she apparently showed up to the event in a t-shirt and no pants, as revealed by a video that was captured by Us Weekly.

In the clip, we see RiRi walk into the building in a gray oversized Eagles jersey, with a green tote hanging off her shoulder. She also sports a bucket hat from Jean Paul Gaultier (which you can get here for $380).

At tonight's ceremony, Rihanna is nominated for Best Original Song, for her performance of “Lift Me Up,” which was featured in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
