Nicole Kidman Makes Surprising Fashion Choice with Bold Neckline (& Fans Are Loving It)

When it comes to trendsetting fashion, Nicole Kidman is someone we love to watch. That’s why we were thrilled to see the Big Little Lies star make her debut as Clé de Peau Beauté’s new global brand ambassador—and introduce us to a new (and chic) way to style a neckline at the same time.

You can catch the styling trick in the campaign’s imagery announcing the launch. Kidman is pictured wearing a blazer two different ways—buttoned and unbuttoned—but it’s her blouse that caught our eye. In both cases, she buttons it right up to the top, finishing the look off with a bow, which is also knotted exactly at the neckline.

The result? It’s crisp, polished and professional and whether she’s wearing gold or black (both hues are shown), it keeps the attention entirely on her face. That’s likely exactly what Clé de Peau, a global luxury and skincare brand, was going for. In fact, the theme of this specific campaign is radiance—the brand also dropped a dreamy black-and-white video, set to “At Last” by Etta James, featuring Kidman and titled, The Key to Radiance is You. (Kidman’s daughter, Faith Margaret, also appears.)

Whatever the reason, we’re eager to mimic the effortless-seeming structure she brings to her neckline. The addition of the bow tied up to the top somehow manages to feel romantic and soft while still appearing tailored. A winning combo.
