Ten years ago, I was backstage at New York Fashion Week. Hair dryers buzzing, models rushing, editors typing furiously. Amidst the chaos, I remember watching celebrity makeup artists swipe on the perfect lip color, and thinking: This is where beauty and fashion collide. Messy. Creative. Alive! That intersection has always been my happy place.

Since then, I’ve spent more than a decade chasing that same energy—telling stories that live where style, identity, and self-expression meet. I’ve served as Beauty Director at a major magazine, led digital content for Allure and L’Oréal and written for Harper’s Bazaar and Women’s Health. I’m also a mom of two, so I know firsthand that style and self-care aren’t just luxuries, they’re lifelines. Through every chapter (and every skincare morning routine), beauty and style has always been how I find joy, confidence and a sense of calm amid the chaos.

Fast-forward to today, and collaboration feels like the heartbeat of our industry. Everywhere you look, brands are joining forces in ways that blur categories: celebrity x skincare, perfume x wellness, skincare x handbags. These collabs have become moments of cultural connection, and in that same spirit, I’m launching my own collaboration: PureWow readers x me.

Lately, I’ve been obsessed with the new wave of fashion-meets-beauty collaborations redefining how we express ourselves. Merit x Brandon Maxwell proves that minimalism can feel indulgent. RMS Beauty x Dôen is a subtle ode to effortless beauty, while Rôz x The Great channels California ease. Aritzia x Salt & Stone nails modern utility, and Skims x Nike—well, that one’s been my most-recent go-to for my NYC Marathon training.

In many ways, these collaborations reflect how fashion and beauty is ever-evolving, expressive, and rooted in connection. I want this space to capture that too. Moving forward, you can expect essays that make you feel seen, trend stories that help you make sense of what’s happening in the world of style and beauty and thoughtful recommendations that merge the aspirational with the accessible. Let’s think about it as a conversation between us: editor to reader, woman to woman, creator to dreamer.
