A groove-worthy disco soundtrack, a baby daddy mystery, Meryl Streep. Hit musical turned pop culture touchpoint, the film Mamma Mia! turns 18 this year—and it’s still as relevant as ever. But while its iconic Abba covers and star-studded cast continue to steal the spotlight, I’m just as captivated by the fashion.

Set on a fictional Greek island, the movies serve as a Mediterranean moodboard of beachy, bohemian style. Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) and her mom, Donna (Streep) wear  breezy maxi dresses and flowy tops, full of romantic details that go swimmingly with their salt-water waves and island lifestyle.

With “Euro summer” becoming a fashion category of its own, and boho silhouettes continuing their comeback, the fashion in Mamma Mia! is as wearable today as it was when the original film debuted. And you don’t need a plane ticket to Greece to embrace the aesthetic. Below, I’ve rounded up five of the top fashion moments in both the original and sequel films, along with pieces to shop now (from Anthropologie, Sézane and more) to recreate the looks.

1. Aegean Embroidery

One of the most memorable looks from the first film is Sophie’s flowy embroidered blouse in an Aegean-inspired palette of blue and white. I’ve seen similar designs popping up across retailers this season, from Sézane’s tie-front top in organic cotton to American Eagle’s fabulous flutter-sleeve. And if you’re wishing it came in dress form, you’re in luck—Anthropologie stocks the dreamiest midi version with a smocked bust and gorgeous detailing.

2. Boho Blues

As much as we all adore her overalls, mamma Donna truly wowed in this deep ocean blue number that was practically made for gazing at the waves while wistfully recalling the romances of your past. For a similar embroidered style, Cupshe offers an option for just $32. If it’s the rich Mediterranean blue you’re after, Free People’s ruffled square-neck maxi and Quince’s organic cotton tiered dress deliver the same vibe.

3. Vibrant Stripes

Sophie’s vibrant, multicolored poncho in the second film (2018's Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again) immediately brings to mind Missoni, a true Euro summer staple. In fact, the label makes a remarkably similar piece—only it’s a cool $1,070. You can, however, get that funky striped look for less by way of this wavy knit from LSpace (which can be paired with matching shorts), or these crochet coverups from Cupshe and Amazon, both priced under $40.

4. Patterned Peasant Tops

Donna is a true ‘70s flower child at heart, and it’s clear in her choice of hippie-dippie peasant tops—my favorite of which boasts this pretty all-over floral print. It’s the first thing I thought of when I saw this Suki button-down from Fahrety, complete with voluminous blouson sleeves. I’m also getting the same free-spirited energy from Loft's square-neck top and Sézane’s ruffle-adorned blouse.

5. Romantic Skirts

As bride-to-be Sophie, Seyfried embraces romantic white pieces, including a number of swingy skirts accented with eyelet and lace. Whether you’re strolling on a Greek beach, hitching a ride on a fishing boat or simply enjoying an al fresco meal at your local brunch spot, you can add whimsy to your ensemble with these eyelet-accented lookalikes from Quince and Sézane. Wanna go extra flirty? Step into the sheer lace tiers of this Free People midi skirt that definitely calls for a twirl or two.
