Much like Christian Louboutin red, Tiffany blue or even Post-It note yellow, Madewell now has a signature hue to call its own thanks to a cool new collaboration with home paint brand Backdrop. Launching Tuesday, January 25, the Madewell x Backdrop collection features nine clothing and accessory styles, plus three paint finishes so you can color your entire life (or at least your living room walls and spring wardrobe) in the brand’s gorgeous warm taupe hue.

The collab, titled STUDIO HOURS, is inspired by the countless hours artists spend in the studio and the clothing they wear to get their work done—namely overalls, chore jackets and easy tees. There’s also a canvas tote bag (with numerous pockets to stow either all your paint brushes and tools or your errand-running necessities), a comfy pair of sneakers with suede detailing, a trendy bucket hat and cozy socks, all in the same pink-tinged taupe, meaning you can incorporate the color into your outfit rotation in any way you like.

Of course, you can also stock up on actual paint as well in either Backdrop’s Standard, Semi-Gloss or Cabinet & Door finishes (all available in both full and half-gallon sizes).

For the uninitiated, Backdrop is an innovative new(ish) paint brand that recently became the very first Climate Neutral certified paint company. Its 50-plus colors are all Green Wise certified, low-VOC and low odor—a major bonus for interior paint jobs—and each shade comes in a recyclable stainless steel can. (The packaging is also compostable for another eco-friendly boost.) But perhaps our favorite thing about the brand is how easy it makes the entire painting process, with experts to help you choose the right shade, large removable adhesive samples (so you can test on your walls without actually doing any painting), and no primer necessary, making it much faster to get the job done. The brand also has a network of painters across the country it can connect you with if you’d rather have someone else do the dirty work.

Prices for the Madewell pieces range from $15 for the socks up to $148 for the overalls and sizes range from XXS to XXL for women’s styles and XS to XXL for men’s. As for the Backdrop paint, prices start at $45, or just $3 for a sample to test with.
