Whether it's a holiday, special celebration or just another Tuesday, we're always keeping our eyes peeled to see what new outfits Kate Middleton, 41, will pull out. And at the 2023 Easter Sunday service, the Princess of Wales did not disappoint, donning a royal blue ensemble that appears to have been a nod to the late Queen Elizabeth II.

As noted by People magazine, the princess sported a blue Catherine Walker & Co. coatdress, which she previously wore to the Commonwealth Day Service in March 2022. She accessorized with a matching clutch and a blue version of a Lock & Co. pillbox hat that she wore for St. Patrick's Day last year. Meanwhile, she appears to be wearing her go-to suede Gianvito 105 heels in the praline color and a pair of Stella earrings with lapis and moonstone from Carousel Jewels.

Princess Catherine coordinated with her entire family, who were also outfitted in blue. Prince William, 40, and Prince George, 9, wore matching navy suits, while Princess Charlotte, 7, wore a blue-and-white floral dress with baby blue stockings and navy flats. Then, Prince Louis, 4, wore a navy blazer with bright blue shorts and high socks.

This was the first time that the couple have brought all three of their kids to the Sunday service, after Prince George and Princess Catherine attended the event with their parents in 2022.

As this was the first Easter Sunday the royal family has celebrated since Queen Elizabeth's passing, it appeared as if their choice of blue was a wink to the late monarch. It was a coordinated effort by the entire family, with King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla also wearing the same hue.

Royal fashion watchers might recall that Queen Elizabeth often wore blue around the Easter holiday, and she especially liked wearing the color for the Royal Maundy Service, which always takes place on the Thursday before Easter. She wore various shades of blue at the Maundy Service in 2005, 2012, 2015 and 2018, and she wore blue for the Easter Sunday service in 2015 as well.
