Production of The Devil Wears Prada sequel is officially in full swing, and I’d venture to say there isn’t a person on the planet more excited than I am to see Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway) and Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) back at it again for round two of their very stylish shenanigans. Trust me, I’ll have plenty more to say once the movie comes out, but if the paparazzi shots are any indication, the fashion in this film is going to once again rule the conversation.

Case in point? While filming in NYC this month, Anne Hathaway was spotted on set rocking not one, but *two* Valentino handbags—both of which featured one of the biggest accessory trends we're predicting for fall 2025: studded accents. Seems like Andy—I mean, Anne, is ahead of the game as usual.

On July 25, the star rocked a suede-on-suede ensemble, which included a rich brown (and boldly studded) version of the Nellcôte fringe shoulder bag by Valentino Garavani, which retails for a cool $2,690. Like the studded look itself, the bag's a little bit boho, a little bit rock 'n' roll—and totally fabulous.

But it was the purse she paired with a sporty blue jumpsuit a few days earlier, on July 21, that really caught my attention. Embellished with hardware chains, buckles and studs, her leather Panthea bag from the brand nails the edgy aesthetic we can expect to see everywhere this autumn. But since the style has yet to be released, that understandably makes it hard to add to your closet.

No worries, though, because I’ve found a few similar options—at price points fit for every budget—that'll help us hop on the studded trend sooner rather than later. Whether it’s this JW Pei Tessa Crushed shoulder bag ($99) or this cool studded purse from Mango ($70; $36), you’ll be as tempted as I am to add these styles to your cart—and your fall purse lineup.

Sleek and simple with a touch of gold-studded shine, this faux leather shoulder bag makes quite the minimalist statement. It can be easily dressed up or down, and the adjustable shoulder strap—finished with two gilded buckles—adds a conveniently customizable touch. Since this beauty is currently on sale for less than $40, there's no better excuse to scoop it up.

The 2000s called and said you're welcome for inspiring this edgy little shoulder bag, decked out in antique silver hardware, zippers and strappy accents galore. While it's certainly small and light enough to fit comfortably under the arm, it offers enough space for all your night-out essentials, including phones as large as an iPhone 14 Pro Max. It also features two interior pockets for extra storage, and, like the bag above, an adjustable shoulder strap for even more styling options. (Psst: First-time customers can even score 10 percent off with the code NEW10.)

Slouchy and chic, this oversized leather crossbody can hold an iPad, water bottle, phone, wallet, makeup case... Let's just say that if you can name it, you can carry it—and look extremely cool while doing so. That's all thanks to its crescent curved shape and, of course, stud-dotted underside. As one shopper writes, "I love the stud detail. The bag is constructed well, unlined and has a large capacity that can be worn comfortably as a crossbody or shoulder carry. "

This Rebecca Minkoff bag is *so* gorgeous (and roomy) that you'll want to carry it everywhere, all of the time. Its leather construction gives it a classic, polished look that's ideal for everyday wear, while those antique brass studs supply the subtle edge we're after. Complete with a sturdy turnlock closure and interior zip pocket, this baby's bound to keep all of your daily must-haves safe and secure. While I adore the black pebbled leather to get the Panthea vibe, it's also available in a brown suede version that has a boho feel similar to the Nellcôte. So, either way, you can consider this pick Anne Hathaway (and Andy Sachs) approved.
