Is it me or were kids' products so much more fun in the '90s? My childhood was filled with bright colors, quirky shapes and funky designs—things that made even the most child-resistant tasks like bath time or brushing my teeth feel all the more playful. So I was pleasantly surprised when I came across Frida's new self-care line for kids and instantly felt a wave of millennial nostalgia.
Now available at Walmart, Frida Kids features hair care, body wash, hairbrushes and toothbrushes, as well as aluminum-free deodorant for bigger kids, all presented in colorful packaging with kid-friendly details like stickers, easy-carry handles and even tactile textures like fluffy foam.
I was sold on all of it immediately—but does it get a stamp of approval from, well, actual kids? I tried it with the 6-year-old in my life to find out.
