This Bradley Cooper Movie Has Been on Netflix’s Top 10 List for Weeks (& It’s So Intense)

It’s no secret that Netflix is full of hit-or-miss streaming options. So, when we stumble upon a hidden gem, it’s a pretty big deal. That’s exactly what happened with the 2016 movie War Dogs, which not only stars Bradley Cooper, but has also been on Netflix’s list of most-watched movies for weeks. (It’s currently ranked at number nine behind I Care a Lot and The Conjuring 2.)

War Dogs is loosely based on a true story, following two young individuals who strike a $300 million deal with the Pentagon to “arm America’s allies” in Afghanistan.

It focuses on David Packouz (Miles Teller), a massage therapist living in Miami, Florida, who runs into an old childhood friend, Efraim Diveroli (Jonah Hill), at a funeral. Diveroli, who lives in Los Angeles and supplies firearms to the U.S. government for the war in Iraq, recruits his old pal to join him, so he can make some real money for his growing family.

Although he is against the war, Packouz ultimately agrees. However, it’s not long before the duo realizes they might be in over their heads—like when they meet Henry Girard (Cooper), a Swiss arms dealer, at a Vegas trade show.

In addition to Cooper, Hill and Teller, the film also stars Ana de Armas (Knives Out), Kevin Pollack (A Few Good Men) and Dave Blizerian (Lone Survivor).

Although the movie didn’t get outstanding reviews from critics (Rotten Tomatoes gave it a respectable 68 percent), audiences are definitely enjoying the intense action-packed scenes and star-studded cast.

Sounds right up our alley.
