The #1 Show on Netflix Is a Raunchy Comedy Filled with a Bunch of Mega-Stars

If you love a good raunchy comedy as much as I do, then I have to recommend the newest special to claim the number one spot on Netflix: The Roast of Tom Brady.

Inspired by the Comedy Central Roast series, which first premiered in 2003, the Netflix comedy special features some of the biggest sports figures and comedians in Hollywood (from former Patriots Quarterback Drew Bledsoe to comedian Kevin Hart) poking fun at NFL superstar Tom Brady. 

The two-hour live program also includes appearances by Nikki Glaser, Randy Moss, Kim Kardashian, Peyton Manning, Ben Affleck and Will Ferrell.

While The Roast of Tom Brady is technically not a show but a special, it currently sits at number one on the Netflix top 10 shows list. The laugh-out-loud comedy special is followed on the top 10 list by Kevin Hart: The Kennedy Center Mark Twain Prize for American Humor (2024), Baby Reindeer (2024), Katt Williams: Woke Foke (2024), Bodkin (2024), A Man in Full (2024), Cooking Up Murder: Uncovering the Story of César Román (2024), Blood of Zeus (2024), Selling the OC (2024) and Evil (2021).

Glaser, who received praise for her standout act on the roast, appeared on SiriusXM’s The Howard Stern Show and shared that one topic was “off limits” for the roasters to talk about onstage: Brady’s kids. 

“We all collectively just decided not to involve his kids too much in anything because they didn’t ask for that. So, I couldn’t say, ‘Tom, hopefully, we make out at the after party—you can pretend I’m your son,’” she said, referencing the controversial kiss Brady gave his oldest son, Jack, on the Tom vs. Time docuseries, which debuted in 2018.
