1. How to Watch the Met Gala Red Carpet

The 2023 Met Gala will once again be available to stream on Vogue's website, as well as the publication's social media accounts, including Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. For those with cable, E! will be hosting a red carpet special, titled E! Live from the Red Carpet.

2. What Time Does the Met Gala Start?

The 2023 Met Gala will take place on Monday, May 1. The red carpet arrivals will begin at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT.

3. What Is This Year's Theme?

The theme for this year’s Met Gala is “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty,” or “In Honor of Karl.” The exhibit will honor the fashion designer’s best work from his decades-long career. (And we'll have to see how the guests interpret that theme when they arrive to the red carpet on Monday, May 1.)

4. Who Are This Year's Hosts?

In typical fashion, the celebrity co-chairs for this year's gala are quite the list of notable names. Actors Penélope Cruz (Vanilla Sky) and Michaela Coel (Black Mirror) will serve as co-chairs alongside singer Dua Lipa and tennis player Roger Federer.

5. What Celebs Will Show Up to the Event?

Besides the A-list roster of co-chairs, we can likely expect last year’s stars—Blake Lively, Sarah Jessica Parker and Lady Gaga—to make a reappearance. Meanwhile, many are hoping that Rihanna will bring her iconic fashion to the fundraiser. *Crosses fingers*
