When it comes to The Devil Wears Prada 2, the cast and crew are making sure fans (hi, yes, me) are fed. From confirming the sequel to dishing out casting updates, we’ve been served a steady stream of details about the highly anticipated follow-up. And now, things just got even better because production has officially begun in New York City and photographers have captured some of the film’s stars on set, in character and looking absolutely fabulous, of course.

Meryl Streep was spotted as the one and only Miranda Priestly, the icy fashion editor-in-chief of the fictional Runway magazine. And yes, she’s still rocking Miranda’s signature white bob. This time, she was photographed in a tailored khaki trench coat over a brown belted pencil skirt, with a deep purple V-neck blouse underneath. The look was paired with matching pumps, sleek gold earrings and Jimmy Choo sunglasses.

Anne Hathaway was also photographed back in character as Andy Sachs, Miranda's former assistant, now older, wiser and clearly still stylish. She looked every bit the polished New Yorker in a gray suit, paired with a black shirt, belt, bag and, of course, oversized black sunglasses.

Anne’s also been teasing fans on social media, including a TikTok of her brushing her teeth in what looks suspiciously like a cerulean blue sweater. “Heading to werk #dwp2,” she captioned the post.

The sequel will also see the return of Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci, along with some fresh faces. According to Variety, Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak and Pauline Chalamet are joining the cast. Deadline also reported that Bridgerton star Simone Ashley will make an appearance.

While no official release date has been announced, it’s believed that The Devil Wears Prada 2 will premiere in 2026, just in time for the original’s 20th anniversary. And I can't wait.
