The Devil Wears Prada sequel is officially underway and the steady stream of updates just keeps getting better. From news of returning icons to confirmation that one original cast member won’t be back, it’s been a whirlwind of announcements that’s equal parts head-spinning and hype-inducing. And now, we’ve got another major update: the cast list just got even more stacked.

According to Variety, several new big-name stars have joined the call sheet for the much-anticipated second installment, including Lucy Liu, Justin Theroux, B.J. Novak and Pauline Chalamet. If you think those names sound familiar, it’s because they are.

Lucy Liu has been serving scene-stealing energy for decades, from Ally McBeal to Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle and Kill Bill. Justin Theroux also appeared in Charlie’s Angels (fun fact), plus Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion, American Psycho and 2024's Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.

Comedy lovers will instantly recognize B.J. Novak from The Office and The Mindy Project, while Pauline Chalamet (yes, she’s Timothée’s sister) brought the laughs in HBO Max’s The Sex Lives of College Girls and The King of Staten Island.

But that’s not all—there are even more fresh faces joining the fashionable fray. Deadline reports that Bridgerton's Simone Ashley will also be strutting her way in to the sequel. Broadway stars Helen J. Shen (Maybe Happy Ending) and Conrad Ricamora (Oh, Mary!), along with comedian Caleb Hearon, have also signed on, per Variety.

To catch you up: the original 2006 film followed Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway), a young aspiring journalist who lands a job working under the formidable Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) at Runway magazine. For the sequel, original cast members Streep, Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci are all set to return. Also making a comeback? Tracie Thoms (Lily, Andy’s stylish best friend) and Tibor Feldman (Irv Ravitz, chairman of Elias-Clark).

Bring on 2026—I'm ready.
