How’s this for a spin-off: How I Met Your Neighbor? It stars us trying to befriend Neil Patrick Harris and his husband, David Burtka, by constantly showing up on their stoop with delicious takeout from one of the neighborhood’s amazing soul-food restaurants.

The not-so-humble abode—she snatched it (sorry) for $12 million—has five bedrooms, floor-to-ceiling windows and a wraparound terrace with striking views of the Hudson.

The tattoo-adorned, motorcycle-driving funnyman, who is *ahem* recently single, has called the village home for nearly two decades. Even during his marriage to Jennifer Aniston, the die-hard New Yorker kept his bachelor pad. We can’t say we blame him—if we had original stained-glass windows in our apartment, we'd probably do the same.

While we’re still waiting for an invite to her star-studded Rhode Island party, we’d settle for an opportunity to hang out with her cats at her seven-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bathroom penthouse.
