The ‘American Horror Story: Double Feature’ Trailer Is Here...& It's Just as Eerie as You Might Suspect

They're heeeere.

American Horror Story will be returning to our TV screens just in time for fall and the beginning of the spooky season. The upcoming tenth season of the show, subtitled Double Feature, will be split into two parts, with Part 1: Red Tide premiering on August 25.

Ryan Murphy has been teasing the show for almost a year, building lots of excitement for the new season. Back in November, he posted one of the first posters for the new season, with a close-up of some fangs that generated many theories among fans regarding the theme of the newest chapter. Then, Murphy started sharing promotional images and videos earlier this summer that featured aliens and sea monsters passing mysterious pills, washing up on shore and just doing some generally eerie screeching.

Now, after months of anticipation, we've finally gotten the first trailer for Double Feature and it looks *really* good (and scary). Check out the video below.

In the tenth season, Lily Rabe and Finn Wittrock portray a married couple who move to a small beach town with their daughter, played by Ryan Kiera Armstrong. However, the family discovers that the friendly townsfolk they encounter are more sinister than they seem.

Just the trailer alone offered plenty of chills and we can see that many of the regulars from the anthology series are returning for this latest installment. Alongside Rabe and Wittrock, previous favorites like Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Frances Conroy, Billie Lourd and Denis O'Hare will feature once again. Meanwhile, there are some new faces in the mix, including Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin.

August 25 can't come fast enough.
