Now that American Horror Story: 1984 has officially come to an end, we’re turning our attention to the next installment of the popular anthology series, which might be its last. Gasp!
In a recent interview with Deadline, series creator Ryan Murphy discussed the tenth (and possibly final) season of American Horror Story. Although he didn’t reveal any details about the theme, the 54-year-old showrunner confirmed that he’s hoping to bring back several beloved actors.
“We’re working on an idea for season ten that I think people will love because it’s about reuniting fan-favorite actors to come back—because it might be our last season,” he said. “It’s the last season we have contracted.”
Murphy went on to say that he’s already contacted a few cast members, adding, “So, I’ve been quietly reaching out to various people. Some people I haven’t reached out to yet because I was like, ‘Do I have a role for them?’ So far, everybody I reached out to said, ‘Yes.’ So that’s been great.”
