Now that American Horror Story: 1984 has officially come to an end, we’re turning our attention to the next installment of the popular anthology series, which might be its last. Gasp!

In a recent interview with Deadline, series creator Ryan Murphy discussed the tenth (and possibly final) season of American Horror Story. Although he didn’t reveal any details about the theme, the 54-year-old showrunner confirmed that he’s hoping to bring back several beloved actors.

“We’re working on an idea for season ten that I think people will love because it’s about reuniting fan-favorite actors to come back—because it might be our last season,” he said. “It’s the last season we have contracted.”

Murphy went on to say that he’s already contacted a few cast members, adding, “So, I’ve been quietly reaching out to various people. Some people I haven’t reached out to yet because I was like, ‘Do I have a role for them?’ So far, everybody I reached out to said, ‘Yes.’ So that’s been great.”

Although Murphy didn’t reveal any specific names, there are several big stars who have appeared in past seasons of AHS, including Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Denis O’Hare, Kathy Bates, Jessica Lange, Lily Rabe, Angela Bassett, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Taissa Farmiga, Cody Fern, Dylan McDermott and Emma Roberts. So yeah, the possibilities are endless.

In the meantime, we’ll be re-watching all nine seasons of American Horror Story, from Murder House to Apocalypse.
