Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story has officially been dethroned as the most popular show on Netflix, thanks to All American.
‘All American’ Is the #1 Show After Netflix Releases Season 5

The sports drama recently claimed the number one spot on Netflix’s list of most-watched shows. (It’s currently ranked ahead of S.W.A.T., Selling Sunset, XO, Kitty and—of course—Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.)
All American airs on the CW, but once a season is complete, it gets added to Netflix’s database. The streaming service just released season five on May 23, so it took only three days for All American to rise in popularity.

The series is based on the real-life story of NFL player Spencer Paysinger, known as Spencer James (Daniel Ezra) in All American. The character starts off as a student at South Crenshaw High, but after witnessing a shooting, his mom arranges for him to transfer to Beverly Hills High School, where he meets Coach Billy Baker (Taye Diggs).
From paternity tests to surprising deaths, All American has all the chaos you’d expect in a drama series, plus a few plot twists that will keep you guessing until the very end. It combines your typical soap drama with America’s favorite pastime, ultimately creating a must-watch series for Friday Night Lights fans.
In addition to Ezra and Diggs, All American also stars Samantha Logan, Michael Evans Behling, Greta Onieogou, Cody Christian and Chelsea Tavares.
