The Wonderskin Peel & Reveal is an innovative all-day lip color that’s taking over TikTok. As with all viral products, there’s one question lurking in the back of our mind: Does it really work?

That’s where PureWow’s Take My Money YouTube series comes into play. In the latest episode, creator Pascale tests the popular product to determine whether it’s worth the hype.

In the video, Pascale explains the recent popularity of the Wonderskin Peel & Reveal. “Talk about a viral product,” she says. “I have literally seen this everywhere—on every social media outlet to every makeup artist to every skin tone.”

The kit comes with three items: a lip masque, a lip activator and a cloth. To apply, simply spread the masque on your lips. (For a softer wash of color, wait 10 to 15 seconds before proceeding to the next step. For a bolder finish, wait 30 to 45 seconds.)

Then, mist one to three spritzes of the lip activator spray on top. After a few seconds, gently peel the masque off, starting at the corners of your mouth. Use the cloth to wipe away any excess product.

Overall, Pascale is pleased with the results, but she does note that it’s a mess to get off. Plus, it stained her fingertips, so beware when you’re peeling off the masque.

In the episode, Pascale uses First Kiss (cranberry) and Whimsical (warm rose), but if you want another shade, the Wonderskin Peel & Reveal also comes in seven other hues: Crush (coral), Sweetheart (hot pink), Romance (cool rose), Lovely (chestnut brown), Darling (bright plum), Glamorous (classic red) and Divine (burgundy red).

If you prefer something more subtle, try one of the tints: Beautiful (light pink), XOXO (light rose) and Adore (peachy rose).
