Having worked for years on achieving a foundation-free complexion I can feel good about, I am very particular about what I add to my skincare routine. I pore over ingredients, scan through reviews and make sure that any new formulas I try aren't just trending, but tried and tested.

So when I got hold of two of Onekind's most popular products—the Solardrops SPF 55 Daily Broad Spectrum Serum Sunscreen ($48) and Dream Cream Nighttime Moisturizer ($42)—I felt good about them from the get-go. The brand promises clean formulations free from synthetic fragrances, silicones, sulfates, petrolatum, parabens, phthalates and formaldehyde-releasers, and with thousands of reviews across its skincare catalog, it's clear that it's earned a loyal following for a reason. Not to mention, those prices are impressive.

And thankfully so, since, after trying both items, I plan on keeping 'em regularly restocked. Here's why.

For Day: The Onekind Solardrops SPF 55 Daily Broad Spectrum Serum Sunscreen

The most important step in my (and, really, everybody else's) skincare routine is sunscreen, so I take it very seriously. And my discerning eye (and skin, for that matter) approves of this one. Offering SPF 55 broad-spectrum sun protection via zinc oxide (making this a mineral sunscreen), the lightweight serum feels so nice to slather on in the morning, leaving my skin feeling instantly smoother and, somehow, even helping to blur the look of my pores.

The formula also boasts a HydraCactus Complex of prickly pear extract and desert date oil, sugar cane-derived squalane and sea buckthorn extract to soothe and hydrate skin sans any oily or pilly residue (something I can attest it does without fail).

My favorite thing about it is its subtle, glowy tint. It rubs in completely clear but still manages to give my face a healthy sheen that's ready to take on the day—fully protected.

I have a lot of very expensive moisturizers sitting on my vanity, and this $42 night cream feels just as luxurious (if not more so) as any of 'em. Rich and thick, the formula feels like it's quenching a thirst I didn't know my skin had, providing intense moisture that makes my face feel plump and nourished, without leaving any greasy, clogged feeling behind.

It's all thanks to the star ingredients, squalane and rosehip oil, which together help to repair the skin barrier by replenishing natural lipids and locking in moisture. Meanwhile, additions like barley seed and chamomile work wonders to soothe and calm my complexion after long, busy days (during which I probably didn't drink enough water, leading to my skin feeling extra parched and depleted in the first place).

A layer of this stuff before hitting my pillow and I awake with a face full of radiance and bounce. It really is a dream—and one I definitely plan on having repeatedly.

Bottom Line

After trying the Solardrops and Dream Cream in my daytime and nighttime routines, respectively, I have no qualms about adding them both to my roster—in the starting lineup, no less. I've experienced no redness or irritation with either one; quite the opposite, both products seem to calm things down almost instantly. And with a price tag that doesn't feel like a splurge, I know I can feel good about using them to the last drop.
