Should You Buy the Biorace Pore-Tightening Pearl Clay Mask?
If your skin is dry, rough, dull or excessively oily, this mask will provide a deep clean to replenish and reveal a visible glow.
When I used the mask for the first time, I applied it as instructed. It didn't have a distinct smell, but it had earthy undertones, which I didn't mind (it's a clay mask, after all). Also, it went on very smoothly, and a little goes a long way.
During the 15 minutes, I felt it getting tighter and tighter on my face. It didn't burn or flake, but it did start cracking at the ten-minute mark. When I went to rinse it off five minutes later with a washcloth and warm water, I must admit it was uncomfortable and kind of felt like I was ripping at my skin. There was some redness left over, but that quickly cleared, leaving smooth and glowing skin behind. I actually ditched my no-makeup makeup routine that day because I was obsessed with how dewy my face looked.
As for the discomfort, I realized the next time I used the mask that if I leave it on for about eight minutes, it's way easier (and not painful) to get off. And most importantly, it made my skin radiant just the same.
