To start out, I scheduled a 60-minute coaching session with the brand's founder, Greta Fitz, during which we discussed areas of my life where I felt stuck. She even tapped into my energy to help me determine what, exactly, I should be focusing on to achieve my goals. At the end of the session, Fitz offered two fragrance recommendations that she thought would be best for me, along with an affirmation to start practicing right away while I waited for them to arrive.
When my "scent spells" finally made their way to my doorstep, I immediately took them out of the box and sprayed them on. Upon first sniff, I loved just how unique and complex the blends were (without being too overwhelming).
You can take a quiz on Ascention's website to discover your best match based on your olfactory preferences and new year goals. But if you'd rather just jump right in and give the perfumes a go, you can shop them all at Ulta.
Choose between themes of courage, enchantment, love, inspiration, detox, prosperity and peace, complete with corresponding crystals to "power" every bottle. Or, if you want to dabble in a few scents to find your fave, you can pick up one of the sample collections that contain five different minis.
No matter which you choose, though, know that each of the formulations is consciously crafted by the brand and includes cruelty-free, vegan ingredients. Plus, every included crystal is ethically sourced, and every bottle comes with a ritual card to really help you make the most of your manifestations.
As for how my manifestation practice is going? I've definitely felt a shift since adopting Fitz's affirmation (and repeating it twice daily). And though I've only used my perfume a few times so far, I'm hopeful about spritzing my way to some big changes this year. If you have some goals of your own for 2026, love a little mystical magic and are passionate about perfume, I definitely suggest adding Ascention to your daily ritual.
