Wait, What?! The Most Popular Wedding Date of the Year Isn’t in Spring, According to New Report

Rustic or beachy? Cream or white? Chocolate or vanilla? Spring or fall?

Of all the questions facing couples to be married, one of the biggest is "when."

But according to a new wedding report released by Wayfair, which collected the data based on those who have signed up for its wedding registry, the most popular date is coming up...fast.

The new report says the most popular date to say "I Do" in 2019 is September 21. Yes, fall brides, you are (literally) one in of a million.

Not too hot, not too cold, not a chance of rain and an evening temperature ideal for outdoor receptions under twinkly lights, mid-September seems to be the favorite for the happy couples tying the knot this year.

And if you're on the other side of the guest list, and have a ceremony coming up this month, at least you know you're not alone (though we're sorry in advance for the flight prices that weekend). Just a heads up, though: You might not score your number-one pick for that dress rental you've had your eye on, since a bajillion other wedding guests will be in the same boat.

BRB, we'll just be shopping for other wedding-guest dress options and humming this ol' favorite: "Do you remember, the 21st night of September?" ('Cuz we sure don't after all those glasses of bubbly...)
