One of the greatest things about home makeover shows like HGTV’s Hidden Potential is the feeling that even the most non-crafty, non-handy among us might be able to transform our home into something more than just a cookie-cutter Pottery Barn catalog. That said, the odds of us ever really finding the time to redo any room in our home, let alone the whole thing, are only slightly more likely than us actually appearing on the show itself. But now that the designer and host of the series, Jasmine Roth, has opened her home (yes, her real, actual house) up to vacationers on Airbnb, we might finally have the chance to live in a gorgeous, TV-ready home, if only for a little while.

The Huntington Beach, California, house was actually Roth’s very first home design project (she and husband Brett built the entire thing from scratch), which she began almost 10 years ago. Once she and husband decided to was time to move, Roth had a hard time giving up on the project that launched her new-found career. In an interview with House Beautiful, she said, “I’m very attached to the house and the thought of selling it made me so upset that I was like, ‘I can’t sell it.’” The solution? Rent it out to travelers on Airbnb.

Dubbed the 11th Street Retreat, the property will be available to rent starting on Thursday, October 1. With four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, the listing will comfortably fit up to nine guests, and is even open for furry friends (aka dogs and cats) to tag along, too.

Up to 14 people can hang out comfortably in the enclosed patio, and there's a gas fire pit perfect for roasting marshmallows long into the night. There’s also an impressive outdoor grill setup, though we think avid cooks will be more inclined to indulge in the 48-inch Viking range in the kitchen, complete with griddle, double oven and restaurant-style hood.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Jasmine Roth original without a few unexpected details making use of oft-forgotten spaces—like this little dog nook tucked away under the stairs so even Fido can have his own room on your family’s California getaway.

Roth has been using Instagram to keep fans posted on all of the updates she’s been making to the 11th Street Retreat in order to make it rental-ready. “We've never done anything like this,” she shared, “so now being able to share it with people is exciting and a little nerve wracking.”

The HGTV star’s home currently costs $634 per night to rent and is less than a mile from a dog-friendly beach and stunning ocean views. While it looks like there are quite a few open dates now (which is to be expected with COVID-19 limiting many people’s travel plans), we expect it will soon become the hot spot to stay when one finds oneself in Huntington Beach.
