We’re firm believers that just a few fresh ingredients can take a dish from boring to brilliant. This beyond-easy recipe for zesty chargrilled broccolini, from Megan Hallett and Nicole Jardim’s cookbook, The Happy Balance, is proof. It’s practically effortless and packed with bright flavor...not to mention really good for you.

“While steamed broccoli isn’t one of the most appetizing side dishes, there are many other ways you can make this fabulous green taste incredible,” writes Hallett. “By chargrilling in a drizzle of avocado oil, you’re getting a dose of healthy fats, while a grating of lemon zest transforms the flavor.”

The real cherry on top? It’s ready in ten minutes. We never thought we’d have a crush on a vegetable, but here we are.
