‘Moana,’ ‘Up’ & More Movies Coming to ABC this Summer with the Return of ‘The Wonderful World of Disney’

If you’re not totally confident that you need a Disney+ subscription in addition to Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu, this rare preview might convince you otherwise.

ABC is giving viewers a glimpse at the Disney+ film catalogue by bringing back its iconic “The Wonderful World of Disney” summer movie nights. This means four classic flicks—including Moana, Thor: The Dark World, Up and Big Hero 6—will be broadcast across four Wednesdays, and it all begins on May 20.

May 20 (8 p.m.)
Moana: It follows a young girl named Moana (Auli’i Cravalho) who teams up with a demigod, Maui (Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson), for a once-in-a-lifetime journey.

May 27 (8 p.m.)
Thor: The Dark World: Marvel Studios’ franchise continues as Thor (Chris Hemsworth) fights to restore order in the aftermath of The Avengers. (Thanks a lot, guys.)

June 3 (8 p.m.)
Up: Carl (Ed Asner) is a retired salesman, who ties thousands of balloons to his house to fulfill a childhood dream. After completing his mission, he’s shocked to find a young Wilderness Explorer, Russell (Jordan Nagai), hiding in the backyard.

June 10 (8 p.m.)
Big Hero 6: After a devastating turn of events, Hiro (Ryan Potter) is forced to use his robotics knowledge to create a band of unlikely heroes.
