Through several in-depth interviews, the couple gives fans a look inside their love story and complex journey within the British royal family. In various clips, we see the pair speak candidly in a luxurious home. And we instantly started to wonder: Where did they shoot the docuseries?

According to a new report by Mail on Sunday, many royal aficionados will be surprised to hear that the docuseries is not filmed in their Montecito house but, in fact, it’s shot entirely in a house that’s a nine-minute drive away from their family home in California.

Per the house listing on the Montecito Real Estate website, the luxurious home is located at 888 Lilac Drive and is in the same hometown where the Sussex family lives. The house is listed on the market for approximately $33.5 million.

But, royal admirers didn’t see the last of the fabulous residence in part one of the series. Netflix then released part two of the tell-all docuseries. In volume two, the royal couple does a deep dive into their complicated relationship with the media and press.

The part two trailer starts with Harry talking to the camera and saying, “I wonder what would have happened to us, had we not got out when we did.” Then, Markle goes on to add, “Our security was being pulled. Everyone in the world knew where we were.”

Saying we are completely obsessed with this house would be an understatement.
