Travis Kelce has already checked off some major accomplishments in his life. From being a three-time Super Bowl champion to hosting Prime Video's Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity?, he’s made his mark. He’s also appeared in FX's Grotesquiere alongside Niecy Nash-Betts and even has an upcoming cameo in the highly anticipated Happy Gilmore 2 with Adam Sandler. But the Kansas City Chiefs tight end is showing no signs of slowing down. In fact, he’s just added a new title to his growing list of ventures—executive producer.

Kelce, 35, has taken on the behind the scenes role as an executive producer for the film My Dead Friend Zoe. The film first premiered at South by Southwest last year and is set to hit theaters on February 28. It features a pretty impressive cast too, starring Sonequa Martin-Green, Natalie Morales, Morgan Freeman and Ed Harris.

“I’ve had an incredible experience being a part of My Dead Friend Zoe as an executive producer,” Kelce shared in a statement with People on February 19.

So, what’s the movie about? My Dead Friend Zoe tells the emotional story of an Army veteran coping with PTSD after losing a close friend and fellow soldier. Kelce described the film as one that “shines a light on the challenges our veterans face,” while also putting “two strong female characters at the forefront” of the narrative.

And it looks like filmmaking might be something Kelce wants to explore further. He shared that he hopes to continue working on “meaningful projects like this—stories that entertain, inspire, and make a real impact,” and expressed how proud he is to be part of such an important film.

It seems like Kelce is just getting started in this new chapter of his career.
