And the Winner of ‘The Voice’ Season 23 Is…

The votes have been counted!

Last night, The Voice season 23 finale aired on NBC, and people across the country tuned in to see who won the singing competition. And the contestant crowned victor was…Gina Miles!

The 19-year-old teen (who was a part of Team Niall Horan) captivated the judges when she first auditioned for the show and performed Katy Perry’s song “The One That Got Away.”

But for the final competition, she blew audiences away when she took center stage and sang a cover of Sinéad O’Connor’s single “Nothing Compares 2 U.”

Hailed as perhaps “the closest margin of victory in Voice history” by Carson Daly, Team Blake Shelton’s Grace West took second place, followed by D.Smooth (Team Kelly), Sorelle (Team Chance) and NOIVAS (also Team Blake).

The night was filled with celebratory wins and final goodbyes—particularly for Shelton. Back in October 2022, Shelton announced that he would be leaving The Voice after 23 seasons. Country singer Reba McEntire will take his place next season.

While speaking to Entertainment Tonight backstage, Miles candidly shared her reaction to her name being called. “It was crazy, I just did not expect that,” she told the outlet. “I’m just so very grateful to be here.”

As for her coach Horan, he had nothing but praise for the young singer. “I can't think of a bad performance she’s put in,” the former One Direction member said. “It’s tough out there. It's not easy for any of us. But I’m going to try and make sure that Gina gets looked after, get her in the right rooms, let her write from her heart, and see what happens.”

Congratulations, Gina!
