This New Video of Stanley Tucci Making a Cocktail to Smooth Jazz Is Totally Going Viral

Stanley Tucci can add “bartender” to his list of many talents. The 59-year-old actor just showed off his cocktail-making skills in a new video on Instagram.

On Monday, the Devil Wears Prada star shared a step-by-step tutorial on how to concoct a Negroni, which he was making for his wife, Felicity Blunt. If you didn’t know, the Italian drink is traditionally made with gin, sweet vermouth, Campari and an orange garnish. However, Tucci revealed the gin can also be substituted with vodka. And by the looks of the video, it seems pretty easy to recreate.

In the three-minute tutorial, Tucci begins by adding ice to a cocktail shaker along with two shots of gin, a shot of sweet vermouth as well as a shot of Campari. After a pretty impressive shake, he pours the drink into a glass (a coupe glass to be exact).

“I put it in a coupe, like that, but you can put it in a martini glass, or whatever you want,” he told fans before garnishing the drink with an orange slice.

Perhaps it was Tucci’s elegance and grace in the video (did you hear that smooth jazz in the background?), or simply just his Negroni-making skills, but not long after the video was posted, it received thousands of likes and comments.

Even fellow actor Chris Evans praised Tucci on his bartending talents revealing that the actor used to prepare drinks for the cast of Captain America on set. “I. Love. Stanley. Tucci.” Evans wrote in a Tweet. “On some(most) days after we finished filming on the first Captain America movie, Stanley would make us martinis in his trailer. He’s an absolute gem. However cool, fun, witty, and charming you think he is, double it and you’re halfway there.”

We’re definitely going to need more videos from Stanley to get us through this quarantine.
