Mandy Moore had a major wardrobe malfunction at the 2021 Emmy Awards, but thankfully, her pal Sophia Bush was there to save the day.
You might recall the This Is Us star's fiery red Carolina Herrera gown as one of the standout looks from last year's ceremony. The dress featured spaghetti straps and tulle fan ruffles, and Moore completed the fabulous look with a bold red shade of lipstick and matching heels. On Instagram, she shared pics of the outfit and wrote, “Lady in Red for The Emmys. Thanks for inviting us to the party again, @televisionacad!”
However, things took a rather awkward turn when she spotted her friend, Bush, and hurried to give her a hug as she headed backstage. She told People, "I was in this red dress with really thin spaghetti straps. Sweet Sophia Bush walked by to go backstage, and I jumped up to hug her, and a strap just popped."
