Shania Twain Wowed in Silk on the AMAs Red Carpet Last Night

When we first heard that one of our all-time favorite country singers, Shania Twain, was attending this year’s American Music Awards, you could say we were excited. But when the star stepped onto the red carpet at last night’s show, she exceeded our expectations.

For the occasion, Twain opted for a silky beige shirt with flared sleeves and a built-in neck scarf, tucked into a high-waisted sequin mermaid-style skirt featuring a long train and sheer, tulle appliqués. Faaancy.

She accompanied the look with drop earrings and styled her hair in a top knot half-bun with some loose curls.

This is the first time the 54-year-old has attended the awards show since 2003. Yep, that’s 16 long years (but totally worth the wait).

During the event, Twain hit the stage with a medley performance of her all-time greatest hits, including “Still the One,” “Any Man of Mine,” “That Don’t Impress Me Much” and “Man! I Feel Like a Woman.”

If you didn’t know, the singer made her music comeback in 2017, when she released her first album in 15 years titled NOW. The record debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart making it the first female country album release to top the chart in more than three years.

And did we mention she’s also starting her second Vegas residency next month? That does impress us much.
