It looks like the roles are starting to reverse for Serena Williams and her daughter Olympia—and yes, it’s as funny as it sounds. In an Instagram post shared on July 1, Serena is seen soaking up the views while posing on a boat, with a gorgeous backdrop of mountains and buildings behind her. She’s wearing a breezy, green halter two-piece set paired with pink sandals, giving casual summer vacation vibes. But there was one tiny wardrobe detail Olympia just had to fix—and the moment was all caught on camera.

As the video pans over to Serena, we see Olympia reach up, grab the waistband of her mom’s skirt, and give it a little tug upward to cover her midriff. It’s subtle, it’s sweet and it’s totally giving mini mom energy.

“@olympiaohanian always keeping me in check,” Serena joked in the caption. “Someone please let her know it’s #summer ?”

Fans were loving it, flooding the comments with laughing emojis and relatable one-liners. “That hand said aht aht!” one follower quipped. Another wrote, “She said, let’s not distract from the scenery.” Others chimed in with, “My daughter does the same thing to me!” and “So all of our kids are like this, huh?!”

This isn’t Olympia’s first time stealing the spotlight. Back in May, she joined her mom on the Williams Sonoma Culinary Stage at BottleRock 2025, where the pair cooked up chicken nachos with cotija cheese sauce alongside Trisha Yearwood. Olympia declared herself the better chef and even her mom agreed.

Later, Serena shared photos from the day, writing, “She kinda stole the show tbh.” No arguments here.

Looks like Olympia’s not just keeping mom in check—she’s thriving in the spotlight, one adorable moment at a time.
