Another tennis star in the making?

It’s always heartwarming to see kids follow in their famous parents’ footsteps (think Deion Sanders’s son on the football field, Bronny James on the basketball court and Gigi and Bella Hadid walking the runway just like mom Yolanda.) Now, it looks like another celeb kid might be next in line: Serena Williams’s youngest daughter, Adira Ohanian.

On July 30, Serena, 43, shared a sweet photo on social media. In the pic, she’s on a tennis court dressed in black pants, sneakers, a white jacket and matching hat, looking ready to serve. But the real scene-stealer? Baby Adira perched on her hip with a racket in Serena’s other hand.

“I never thought I would have to carry my doubles partner,” Serena joked in the caption, before telling her 18.2 million followers to “Subscribe to watch an epic video of me practicing with @adiraohanian.” She also added a cheeky warning: “Caution, don’t try this at home!”

Adira doesn’t turn two until August 15, so we’ve got some time before we know whether she’s destined for tennis greatness like her mom. But based on this moment, she’s already got a front-row seat to the best coaching in the world.

Of course, fans couldn’t help but speculate (and hope) that this could mean a Serena comeback is in the works. “I need to see you at the US Open. Playing,” one person commented. Another wrote, “IT’S TIME FOR A COMEBACK !!!”

Whether it’s Adira or Serena holding the racket next, one thing’s for sure: the mother-daughter content is top-tier. Between glam makeovers from the girls and sweet outings like their Bottlerock appearance, Serena continues to serve, on and off the court.
