Serena Williams Continues Her Hot Streak of Gucci Gowns and Feathers

Serena Williams and Gucci are beginning to form a very close partnership. Just a few days ago, the tennis star was seen sporting a feathery, two-toned gown from the luxury Italian fashion house, and now, she's pulled out another one.

Opting for a more monochromatic look this time, Williams attended the L.A. County Museum of Art gala in a black dress from designer Alessandro Michele, which featured a long velvet skirt and a spaghetti strap bodice stitched with fabric flowers. The look was rounded out with a pair of lace gloves covered in (you guessed it) feathers and a black choker with a pink rose attached.

The outfit was put together by Williams's frequent stylist, Kesha McLeod, while Angela Meadows constructed her tight bun and Natasha Gross did her makeup.

The last time we saw Williams in a Gucci ensemble, she was having a “mama's night out,” but this time around, she was accompanied by her husband, Alexis Ohanian, for the event.

A snap of the pair was featured in a slideshow that Williams posted to her Instagram, saying, “Feeling @gucci.” In the photo, Ohanian is seen sporting a simple black tux that paired well with Williams's dress.

This look is only the latest in the athlete's streak of Gucci dresses. Last week, Williams attended the Gucci Love Parade Fashion Show in a black-and-white ensemble that also featured some fluffy sleeves.

Meanwhile, back in September, she showed up to the Met Gala in a superhero-inspired outfit from the label that included a plumy ombré cape.

We're not sure how this love affair between Serena and Gucci got started, but we are all here for it.
