First, it was Meghan Markle. Then, it was Zara Tindall. And now, Princess Margaret’s grandson, Samuel Chatto, is making a major career announcement.

This week, Chatto revealed that he’s finally ready to share his passion for pottery with the world. The 28-year-old royal’s work will be featured in a new exhibition at the Sokyo gallery in Kyoto, Japan.

Chatto announced the exciting news on social media by sharing a poster on Instagram. The caption read, “I’m delighted to announce my upcoming exhibition with @sokyo_gallery in Kyoto. The works shown came out of a residency I did with the gallery last year, along with more recent works wood fired at my studio in West Sussex.”

It continued, “These works respond to the idea of ‘Interior and Exterior,’ balance and flow, they are also influenced by landscapes and tea culture in Britain and Japan. Made with porcelain and local clays from Japan and Sussex.”

Chatto is following in the footsteps of Markle, who also made a huge career announcement when she revealed that she’s launching a new podcast. Shortly after, Tindall announced that she’s the new brand ambassador of Fairfax & Favor.

In case you need a refresher on the royal family tree, Chatto is a distant relative of Queen Elizabeth II. His mom, Lady Sarah, was born to Princess Margaret and Anthony Armstrong-Jones in 1964, making her the late monarch’s niece.

In addition to Chatto, Lady Sarah and her husband, Daniel, are also parents to a son named Arthur, 26.

I can’t wait to see what the future holds for Chatto’s pottery career.
