There's a Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hot Sauce and We Have Zero Objections

supreme court justices hot sauce

Supreme Court Justice and women's rights icon Ruth Bader Ginsburg will celebrate her 86th birthday on Friday, March 15. To celebrate, why not pick up a totally unnecessary but also kind of funny hot sauce inspired by the notorious RBG?

Called Roastin' RBG, it's one of three new Supreme Court-themed sauces from online retailer Always Fits. (If you remember, Always Fits is the same brand that brought you the super-popular Golden Girls hot sauce last winter.)

The other two flavors? Kickin' Kagan, inspired by Elena Kagan, and Scathing Sotomayor, named after Sonia Sotomayor.

Roastin' RBG is a red habanero hot sauce made with habanero peppers, carrots, fresh garlic and spices. Kickin' Kagan is a jalapeño hot sauce made with ripe, red jalapeños, garlic, vinegar and spices. Scathing Sotomayor is a green habanero hot sauce made from processed green habanero peppers, prickly pear cactus, fresh garlic, lime juice and spices, and is the hottest of the bunch.

Each 5-ounce bottle will set you back $10, or you can snag all three for $27.

Because nothing says "let's celebrate trailblazing women" like a plate of mouth-burning nachos.
