The royal family is wishing everyone a Happy New Year with a brand-new post on social media.

This week, the royal family shared a video on Instagram in honor of 2024. The clip featured Buckingham Palace surrounded by fireworks that spell out "Happy New Year."

Fans and followers filled the comments section with supportive messages. One person wrote, “Happy new year to Their Majesties and the Royal Family.” Another added, “Happy New Year to their Royal Highnesses King Charles and Queen Camilla. Also to William and Catherine of Wales and their children. To the rest of the Royal family may you all have a safe and wonderful year. Love from Australia.”

Recently, Kate Middleton and Prince William shared a new portrait of their three kids—Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5—on their joint Instagram account. The photo resembled their 2023 Christmas card, featuring the three siblings sharing an embrace while sitting on a wooden chair.

The black and white pictures were taken by professional photographer Josh Shinner. Last  month, he reposted one of the photos on his personal IG page and shared what it was like working with the royal fam.

“It was such a pleasure to photograph The Prince and Princess of Wales and their family for the Christmas portrait this year,” he wrote in the caption. “Without [a] doubt, one of the most relaxed and enjoyable sittings I’ve ever had, and I now have a whole new set of jokes that are right on my level thanks to the children…A huge thanks to the @princeandprincessofwales for having me.”

We can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2024.
