Robert Irwin Just Shared His First Photo with His Niece (& He Looks Exactly Like His Father Steve)

Robert Irwin is definitely taking after his late father, Steve Irwin. At least, that’s what we’re getting from his latest photo on Instagram.

ICYMI: The 17-year-old officially became an uncle this week when his sister Bindi and her husband, Chandler Powell, welcomed their first child together—a baby girl. The 22-year-old announced the news on Instagram Friday and even revealed the baby girl's name—Grace Warrior Irwin Powell. The slideshow featured a sweet shot of herself and Powell holding their daughter as well as another image of a onesie with a koala bear.

The same day, Robert shared a social media post of his own featuring the first photo of himself holding his niece. “Let the uncle adventures begin! Love you so much, Grace,” he captioned the post. “This little one picked the two best parents in the entire world. The most incredible, caring and strong Mum... and the funnest, coolest and kindest Dad. Love you three so much—I can’t wait for this exciting journey ahead!”

And we couldn’t help but notice that the image reminded us of a throwback of his father which he had posted back in July of 2020. In that TBT, which was shared in honor of his sister's birthday, their late father lovingly looked at his then-newborn son while Bindi posed beside the pair.
