Rihanna, 35, and A$AP Rocky (born Rakim Athelaston Mayers), 34, appear to have a theme going here. While both of the musical artists have names that start with “R,” it seems they want all their kids to have “R” names as well.

The couple welcomed their second son earlier this summer, and now, thanks to a birth certificate obtained by E! News, we've finally learned the newborn’s name—Riot Rose Mayers.

The superstar couple welcomed their first child, son RZA Athelston Mayers, in May 2022. However, we didn't learn his name until a year later.

People revealed RZA’s name only days before A$AP Rocky shared it himself on Instagram. “WU TANG IZ 4 DA CHUREN” the rapper quoted in his caption. “HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY TO MY 1st BORN. RZA.”

The toddler’s name pays homage to Robert Fitzgerald Diggs, who goes by the stage name RZA (pronounced “Rizza”). Diggs is a member of the famous hip-hop group, the Wu-Tang Clan, acting as a rapper, producer and leader of the group.

After Rihanna gave birth to their first son, she surprised the world when she headlined the 2023 Super Bowl LVII halftime show and revealed that she was pregnant again.

At the beginning of her performance, RiRi rubbed her belly, seemingly signifying that she was expecting. Later that night, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed the exciting news.

Then, TMZ confirmed in August that Rihanna had given birth to their second child, and while the outlet didn't yet know the name, the author teased that the pair had welcomed another boy and his name started with an “R.” Seems they were right.

We can't wait to get our first glimpse of baby Riot Rose.
