Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Are Giving Us Old Hollywood Vibes in New Short Film

Rihanna and her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, 35, know how to give us an unforgettable fashion moment on the red carpet. But now, the power couple is also showing off their acting chops (and serving Old Hollywood) in a new short film titled Born to Steal: Yours, Mine, Ours.

The short film was posted on the official Fenty Beauty YouTube channel earlier this week. The one-minute video opens with a narration that introduces Rihanna’s character as a cunning woman. “She was a classy dame, but she had odd ways of showing her affection,” the voiceover says while RiRi mysteriously looks at the camera. The 36-year-old singer fully embodies the classic aesthetic with her slicked-down curls and Old Hollywood-inspired makeup. In the clip, RiRi borrows one of A$AP's blazers from the closet, which makes him upset. 

"Although the female's choices are endless, she borrows from the male for her camouflage," the voiceover continues. “The more savage of the species, the females are known to hoard from the unsuspecting males.”

To show her gratitude, Rihanna (aka the “Blazer Bandit”) shares her Fenty Beauty Lux Balm Ultra-Hydrating Cherry Lip Balm ($16) with A$AP. The short film ends with RiRi and A$AP having breakfast together. The “Work” singer eats a plate stacked with pancakes while her man reads the newspaper. “Not so fast, baby, this one’s mine!” the voiceover says and the words “The End” flash across the screen. 

As an added bonus, Rihanna posted a film reel video on her Instagram page. In the clip, the couple is posing with the Fenty Beauty Lux Balm while dressed in the same attire from the short film. “Born To Steal: Yours, Mine, Ours,” the caption read.
