Major congrats are in order for Richard Gere and his wife, Alejandra Silva. The couple reportedly welcomed their second child together, according to ¡Hola! magazine.
News broke on Thursday that the 70-year-old actor’s (yes) 37-year-old wife (again, yes) gave birth to a baby boy at the couple’s ranch in Pound Ridge, New York. The couple revealed that they were expecting baby number two in November of last year.
This is both Gere and Silva’s third child—Gere has an 20-year-old son (Homer) with ex-wife Carey Lowell, and Silva has a 7-year-old son (Albert) from her previous marriage to financier Govind Friedland. The couple also welcomed their first child together, Alexander, just 14 months prior to their new baby.
Gere and Silva began dating in 2014 before secretly tying the knot in a civil ceremony in the spring of 2018. The duo later celebrated their nuptials with friends and family in New York that May.
