We look to Reese Witherspoon for book recs, puppy pics and classic outfit ideas. But this week, while on her The Morning Show press tour, the 43-year-old Oscar winner surprised us with a super trendy look that’s difficult to pull off. Spoiler alert: She totally made it work.

Witherspoon stepped out for a screening of her upcoming Apple TV+ series at London’s Ham Yard Hotel wearing an all-green outfit in varying shades and textures.  She hit the red carpet alongside her co-star Jennifer Aniston in an emerald green turtleneck, a deeper green textured blazer with gold hardware and a mint green mini-skirt. Totally unexpected, but très chic.

Both the one-button twill blazer and mint mini are Brandon Maxwell. Sadly, the jewel toned topper has since sold out, but the L’Agence forest green velvet blazer ($675) and J.Crew Parke velvet blazer ($188) are pretty similar. The same goes for Witherspoon’s winterfresh mini, however the Majorelle Suri mini skirt in pear green is marked way down (from $128 to $27) and totally fits the vibe.

The Big Little Lies star brought both pieces together with a hunter green mockneck like the Wosalba green turtleneck ($23) and completed the look with camel colored Christian Louboutin Decollete pointed toe leather pumps ($695).

Although we’d never think to pair heavier jewel tones with a silk mint-colored piece, it really works.

Come the holiday season, you know what we’ll be copying: Reese Witherspoon’s monochromatic look.
