There’s a new man in Reese Witherspoon’s life, and wow is he cute.
The 43-year-old Big Little Lies star announced on Instagram that she and her family just got a brand-new bulldog puppy named Lou, and everything from his gorgeous blue eyes to his little ears are basically killing us.
“Welcome to the family, Lou! #lovemybulldog” Witherspoon captioned a photo of her new fur baby.
Not surprisingly, the internet freaked out after seeing Lou. Chrissy Teigen, owner of bulldogs Penny, Pippa and Pepper, commented, “Omg bulldog families unite!! Let me know when you need a vet (prob like 2-3 days).”
Kate Hudson wrote, “I’m literally out of my mind right now” with 25 heart emojis (we counted). Eva Longoria chimed in and wrote, “Omg no way! He’s beautiful!!!” Julianne Moore commented, “Oh I want one too!!!” And, Witherspoon’s Big Little Lies co-star Shailene Woodley simply said, “Stop!!!!!!!” We completely agree with all of those comments.
Witherspoon also shared videos of Lou acclimating to his new household on her Instagram Stories. In one clip, Lou lounges in his very Draper-James-esque plaid dog bed and casually noshes on a Turkish towel.
After his snack, his mom (Reese) shared footage of him living his best doggo life and sprinting around the family’s yard while her 6-year-old son, Tennessee, watched from the swing set. Lou may be somewhat fast, but he’s definitely still figuring out how to use his legs.
Case in point? The next video Witherspoon shared of Lou, in which he sprints, takes a major tumble, gets up and then knocks the camera straight out of her hands.
