Are you, like us, falling in love with Madeline Martha Mackenzie’s wardrobe in season two of Big Little Lies? Well (good news!), Reese Witherspoon’s clothing company, Draper James, just designed a dress in honor of the spunky character.
Yesterday, the 43-year-old actress announced that her two worlds—fashion and acting—are colliding. Witherspoon revealed that Draper James is launching an all-new dress inspired by her character in Big Little Lies, and no, this is not a drill.
She captioned the post, “@draperjames designed a dress after my @biglittlelies character! Colorful, floral, and sassy just like Madeline Mackenzie.”
While the dress has a simple silhouette, it’s not one for the fainthearted, considering the blue-and-pink print can be spotted from miles away. (Just how Madeline likes it, of course.) The Madeline Mackenzie Dress is now available for purchase for $135.
Big Little Lies originally premiered in 2017, and Witherspoon immediately gained recognition for her character’s sassy, independent personality. The series also stars Nicole Kidman (Celeste), Shailene Woodley (Jane), Laura Dern (Renata), Zoë Kravitz (Bonnie) and Meryl Streep (Mary Louise).
Now, one question still remains: Will the Madeline Mackenzie Dress make a cameo in season two of Big Little Lies? We’ll be on the lookout.
