Reese Witherspoon & Daughter Ava Look Like Twins as They Celebrate the End of ‘Dry January’

Reese Witherspoon and her 22-year-old daughter, Ava Phillippe, seem to enjoy spending time together, whether they're walking the red carpet, taking car rides with their pups or chilling by the beach. (And many of their hangouts include Witherspoon's other two kids—Deacon, 18, and Tennessee, 9.)

From the looks of Witherspoon's new Instagram post, it seems the mother-daughter duo's latest bonding exercise included an effort to go alcohol-free for a whole month. But with February having finally begun, the pair's “Dry January,” has come to a close, and they were seen celebrating that fact with a toast on Witherspoon's account.

In the snap, Witherspoon and her daughter are each holding a wine flute filled with rosé, and the Legally Blonde actress said, “Well, I guess dry January is done [heart emoji] [champagne emoji] @avaphillippe.”

While we're happy the pair is able to enjoy a drink again, we couldn't help but notice how much the two look alike in the pic. Ava is seen wearing a black turtleneck and bronze-colored skirt, while her mom dons the Naomi wrap dress from her own Draper James collection. However, their faces look exactly the same, from their smiles to their noses and their eyes. Each woman is even seen resting her hand on the counter in the exact same pose.

Fellow celebs noticed the similarity, like Sophia Bush, who said, “TWINS.” Director Melina Matsoukas added, “Twinning!!!”

This is not the first time we've done a double take while looking at these two (or the first time they've shared a drink together on Insta). Last August, Ava posted a photo to her own account, where she said, “Margarita anyone?” In the snap, the 22-year-old looks like the spitting image of her mom.

Talk about powerful genes.
