Rebel Wilson, 43, might take the crown as the biggest fan of Disneyland. The Pitch Perfect alum can be seen there quite often, and she even just proposed to her girlfriend, Ramona Agruma, at the magical theme park too. However, during a recent visit to The Daily Show, Wilson revealed that she once got banned from Disneyland for 30 days.
“I did get banned from Disneyland for 30 days because I took a photo in a secret bathroom...which is illegal at Disneyland” she told guest host Hasan Minhaj.
(If you're wondering what Wilson meant by “secret bathroom,” we're not entirely sure, but some sources are speculating that she's referring to a loo within Club 33, a private dining club inside the theme park.)
However, because Wilson is such a frequent visitor of the park, her punishment wasn't that severe. She laughed, adding: “But they called me up and said, ‘Rebel, what 30 days do you not want to come to Disneyland because you're away filming a movie or something?’ And I said, ‘Oh, June would be fine.’” In response, Minhaj joked, “That's how I know you're a celebrity.”
Wilson is a major fan of the California-based park, and earlier in the interview, she told Minhaj, “Basically, it's not like I'm obsessed with Disneyland it's just...I go there every weekend, like every important holiday and every important life event.” She also revealed that she even slept at the park for her 40th birthday.
Just last month, Wilson shared a slideshow to Instagram revealing that she and her now-fiancée (Agruma) are engaged. The photos captured the pair in pink-and-white striped sweaters, kissing in front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland.
“We said YES!” Wilson wrote in her caption. “Thank you @tiffanyandco for the stunning ring and to Bob Iger and the incredible team at Disneyland @disneyweddings for pulling off this magical surprise!”
