This Fashion Designer's ‘I Am Many' Campaign Is Bringing Women Together to Support One Another

We’re in the midst of New York Fashion Week, but one designer opted out of putting on a traditional runway show in favor of something a little more…empowering.

Designer Rebecca Minkoff recently launched “I Am Many,” a brand manifesto dedicated to empowering women.

Eschewing the traditional NYFW presentation, Minkoff released a series of ten one-minute videos that demonstrate expressions of female multidimensionality. Each features a badass woman—from female founders and entrepreneurs to activists and students—who represents the brand’s core values.

“The intention of the videos is to kickstart the collective narrative of many women who are using their voice to advocate for what they believe in and bringing women’s issues to the forefront. We aim to create a snowball effect across wide female networks around the idea that all of us are many things at the same time, and that there are many of us,” explained Rebecca Minkoff, the brand’s namesake, co-founder and creative director.

Since it is still a fashion brand, each participant in the videos is dressed in pieces from Minkoff’s fall, holiday or resort collections, which will be available to shop as well. Expect styles that, per Minkoff’s usual, are chic, easy-to-wear and effortlessly cool (we’re swooning over the graphic I Am Many tee).

You go, girls.
